Nylon Cord Fiber
Nylon is a synthetically produced fiber which is very strong but lightweight. It is durable, provides excellent elasticity, and is resistant to abrasion, most acids and alkali. Nylon fiber in braided cords and rope is flexible and has the ability to absorb shock load. It can be stored wet and is resistant to rot as well.
Nylon is used in cord and rope applications including: climbing rope, safety lanyards, mooring lines, tie down rope, sling rope.
